Hi! My name is Daniel Wang and I am currently a student at UNC Chapel Hill double majoring in Computer Science and Data Science.
I enjoy tackling messy problems and challenging myself to solve where most would avoid. I see software development as a way to uncover hidden patterns and design solutions that utilize data to drive informed decisions. Right now, my focus is on integrating AI/ML with core software architecture and data pipelines. I'm especially interested in building resilient, scalable infrastructure and versatile technology that operates in adapting tech ecosystems.
To me, data visualization is like photography—using the right lens and composition to transform raw data into captivating stories. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, traveling across Asia, listening to R&B, and exploring film and photography.
